Two major changes are going to effect your ticket purchases at Walt Disney World® Resort starting October 16.
The first change is the move to “Date-based” pricing. This means that the prices will be lower for off-peak season, but more for the busier seasons. This will be similar to the pricing for the resort rooms.
The second change is in the length of time that your ticket can be used. One-day tickets will be valid for the day they are issued. However, for multiple days, you can use the tickets for the number of days purchased, plus a set number of extra days based on the length of the ticket. For example, if you purchase a 5-day ticket, you’ll be able to use that ticket for any 5 days with an 8-day period beginning on the start date.
If your tickets are purchased as a component of a resort package, the length of time a ticket can be used is the greater of the method described in the last paragraph, or the length of stay between your resort check in date and your resort check out date.
If you are looking for more flexibility, you may purchase a Flexible Date Ticket for an additional charge.
Any modifications to dates traveling that result in a higher ticket cost will need to be paid for by the guest. There will be no adjustments or refunds made for lower ticket prices due to a date change.
Park hopper options can still be added, and multi-day discounts are still available.
