Holiday cheer returns to the Universal Orlando Resort in 2022 with some favorite experiences, modified events, and some new ways to celebrate the season! 

Get in the spirit with Holiday shows and decorations in both lands of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Nobody wraps up the Holidays into a mind-blowing, mischief-making, action-packed adventure like Universal Orlando Resort. Festivities will run from November 12, 2022, through January 1, 2023.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s – Catch larger-than-life balloons floating through the streets of Universal Studios, along with appearances by the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me and some of your favorite characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar films.

Mannheim Steamroller returns in 2022 – Celebrate the season with the sensational scores of the best-selling holiday artist of all time.  Manheim Steamroller blends classical music with elements of new age and rock will be performing its modern versions of Christmas music in several FREE live concerts on the Music Plaza Stage December 3, 4, 10, and 11, at 7pm. 

Warm Fuzzies with a Side of Sarcasm – Seuss Landing™ is decorated with the holiday charm and cheer of Dr. Seuss’s Who-ville. Get together with the resident Whos and put a little snark in your holiday spirit with The Grinch™.  Plus meet the maven of mischief himself for a photo opportunity at All The Books You Can Read Bookstore.

The Grinchmas™ Who-liday Spectacular – Enjoy the music and fun of The Grinchmas™ Who-liday Spectacular. Your heart might grow three sizes as you delight in the hilarious hijinks of this live retelling of the classic tale starring the Grinch™, featuring music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller.

The Grinch™ & Friends Character Breakfast – Savor a Grinchy good morning and feast with the mean green one himself – treat yourself to Green Eggs and Ham plus a whole buffet of festive foods. Select dates Nov 12 – Dec 29. ($41.99 + tax for adults ages 10+/$26.99 + tax ages 3 – 9)

Muggles and Wizards alike are ready to celebrate the holidays at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Both Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida have decked the halls and are waiting for your arrival!

The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts™ Castle – Join the celebration as Hogwarts™ castle lights up for the holidays with a spectacular transformation with a stunning projection of holiday spirit and Christmas moments inspired by beloved Harry Potter films. This visual delight can be viewed every evening from dusk until park close in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. (Not operational on November 29)

Entertainment – Festive live entertainment will put you into a holiday mood with live yuletide performances from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees at Diagon Alley, and the Frog Choir at Hogsmeade.

Seasonal Treats – Hot Butterbeer is back!  You can grab some of this delicious holiday warmth at The Leaky Cauldron, Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Hopping Pot, Hog’s Head, or Three Broomsticks.  It’s the perfect match for some of the delicious holiday treats you’ll find!  Fancy something a bit more filling?  Try the Holiday Feast at Three Broomsticks!

Holiday Tribute Store – Explore four colorfully themed marketplaces in the festive Tribute Department Store at Universal Studios. Here you’ll find a dazzling display of Holiday-themed merchandise and tasty goodies available for sale.

Seasonal Merchandise – Be sure to take home some of the great Holiday must-haves available in the parks, including Christmas ornaments, apparel, hats, scarves, backpacks, drink ware and other fun items.

Seasonal Sweets and Treats – ‘Tis the season to be hungry. Give your taste buds a present this year with these exclusive food and drink offerings in the theme parks and Universal CityWalk— from a Gingerbread Shake to pumpkin crepes, hot Butterbeer™ and more.

Capture Some Memories – Grab a photo by the Christmas tree in New York and all the other decorated spots. Share your pics and tag us with #UniversalHolidays.

Holiday Tree Hunt – Purchase the Holiday Tree Hunt brochure to enjoy a fun scavenger hunt locating decorated Holiday trees in Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk and receive a special Holiday ornament. Separate theme park admission required to enter the theme parks. Restrictions apply. 

Universal’s Holiday Tour Ticket – Experience the holidays with this incredible tour. Enjoy a meet and greet with the Grinch™ & Max, small plates, beverages, and a hot cocoa bar at Circus McGurkus Stoo-pendus, a reserved seating area for the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular, Priority access to one attraction (subject to Tour itinerary at Universal’s discretion), a private Santa meeting including one My Universal Photos digital download per party, and an after-hours showing of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle. This tour is available on select dates between 11/13/22 and 1/1/23.  Theme Park admission AND a Park-to-Park ticket are required and must be valid on the date of the tour.
