Live your Star Wars adventure in a galaxy far, far away! On the planet Batuu is a settlement called Black Spire Outpost. It’s a destination for scoundrels and smugglers – and most recently – the Resistance! Log in to the Disney Play App. When you enter the outpost, it will change into a Star Wars Datapad which will allow you to interact with the land (See Play Disney App page in Need to Know Section).

  • Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s RunHando Ohnaka, proprietor of Ohnaka Transport Solutions, is looking for flight crews to assist with the delivery of his backlog of rare cargo.  Join the team as a pilot, gunner, or engineer.  While in the queue, be sure to use your datapad to scan the cargo and catalog rare items.

  • Star Wars:  Rise of the ResistanceJoin the Resistance!  Wander through the forests of the Black Spire Outpost to a hidden Resistance base and join the fight against the First Order.  Board your transport and blast off on your journey to Picara, but beware, the First Order will capture your shuttle and you’ll be taken prisoner on a Star Destroyer, that is, until Poe Dameron and the Resistance join you for a heroic escape!  Currently, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is boarding Guests by utilizing the Standby queue or the Lightning Lane, which requires the purchase of an Individual Lightning Lane Selection.  There may be times where a Virtual Queue is available.  Please refer to the accompanying pages on Genie+ and Virtual Queues for information on how utilize these options.
EXPERIENCES

Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt LightsabersIf you would like to create an elegant weapon from a more civilized age, you are in luck!  Batuu is home to a group known as “The Gatherers” who operate a covert workshop where guests can build custom lightsabers from unique items collected by The Gatherers.  Upon your arrival, check in and choose one of four themes for your saber.  You will receive an accompanying cloisonné pin.  When you enter the workshop, The Gatherers will present you with a tray of parts from which you will choose to build your hilt.  Next select your kyber crystal and build your saber. The reservation will allow entrance to the workshop for one builder and one guest (one of which must be 14 years of age or older). Guests may not build a lightsaber.  Reservations are required for this experience and may be made up to 60 days in advance (subject to availability).  Check in 15 minutes prior to your reservation times.  Be prepared to show your confirmation email, photo ID, and credit card used to make the reservation.  Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a per builder cancellation fee.  Theme park admission required.  Ask your Dream Designer for information about current pricing.

Droid DepotBuild your very own BB or R Series Astromech unit at the Droid Depot located at Batuu’s Black Spire Outpost.  Upon checking in you will receive blueprints and a basket.  Next you will head to the Parts Station to select pieces from a colorful selection of parts on a large conveyor belt.  Then move to the Build Station where you will assemble your droid and install the remote control.  Additional accessories such as personality affiliation chips are available at an additional cost.  Carry box and instructions included.  The experience area is limited to the builder and one guest (one of which must be 14 years of age or older).  Only the builder will be allowed to build a droid.  Reservations are required and may be made up to 60 days in advance (subject to availability).   Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.  Theme park admission required.  Ask your Dream Designer for information about current pricing.

Oga’s CantinaWelcome to the local cantina, where bounty hunters, smugglers, rogue traders, and weary travelers of all ages come together to refuel, enjoy music and conduct meetings—no questions asked. With an expansive menu of exotic concoctions for younglings and adults, the cantina is a welcome rest stop before your crew’s upcoming galactic journey.

As you plan your next smuggling run, please enjoy some bold musical entertainment courtesy of droid DJ R-3X, a former Starspeeder 3000 pilot. The cantina adheres to proprietor Oga Garra’s strict code of conduct, but patrons can be… unpredictable, so just keep your head down and drink casual.

Reservations made with a credit card guarantee are required and may be made up to 180 days in advance (subject to availability).  At least one guest must be age 14 or older. Guests must be 21 years of age or over to consume alcohol.  Check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their reservation. Guests will be admitted as soon as space become available to accommodate the group. The Cantina consists of mainly standing room only with limited seating. Seating is not guaranteed.  Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or may be subject to a $10 fee per person that will be charged to your credit card. This experience takes place in low lighting levels and high activity and is limited to 45 minutes per party.  Theme park admission required.

 

Docking Bay 7Hungry travelers can fuel up on galactic grub at this local Black Spire eatery.  At this restaurant housed in a working hangar bay, choose from a variety of dishes prepared with ingredients from across the galaxy—all of it delicious, but none of it familiar. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies and he’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings. His planet-hopping travels allow him to prepare fare with unusual flavors that delight customers.  Once you’ve got your grub, sit inside the spacious hanger, or grab a table in the rustic outdoor seating area surrounded by the crumbling walls of the old marketplace.  Reservations not required.  Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Ronto RoastersAs you wander the market, follow the intoxicating scent of grilled meat wafting through the air. Ronto Roasters is a favorite stop for crews prepping for their next mission.  Inside, spot the hanging podracer engine heating up a spit of meats. A pitmaster droid turns the mechanical spit, grilling a large side of ronto—a massive beast native to the planet Tatooine.  Enjoy your tasty treat with a specialty beverage while you explore the rest of the market.  Reservations not required.  Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Mobile ordering is available at this location.

 

 

SWGE Snacks

Milk StandTreat yourself to a specialty famous throughout the galaxy.  No visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is complete without a frosty confection from the Milk Stand. Choose either legendary blue or green milk.  The vendors at this quirky stall offer travelers an invigorating, refreshing drink that’s a favorite among the locals.  Luke Skywalker can be seen enjoying blue milk in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and green milk in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.  Thirsty visitors can now try both these exotic galactic delicacies for themselves—as they live their own Star Wars adventures.

Kat Saka’s Kettle – Pop into this eclectic food stall for some Outpost Mix:  a sweet, savory snack made with popcorn.  Venture into the market to find this colorful snack shop, where grains from all over the galaxy are on display. Order a generous, piping-hot helping of this popular and flavorful local specialty popcorn and enjoy it as you explore Black Spire Outpost. Refreshing beverages are also sold here.  Run by grain merchant Kat Saka, this stall offers customers a unique taste of Batuu.

Dok Ondar’s Den of AntiquitiesHidden inside the den, you’ll encounter a rotating collection of unique items that include everything from jewelry to ancient tools, rare kyber crystals to statues—and even a collection of famous lightsabers. The eclectic assortment of goods comes from many different planets and eras.  You will want to explore every nook and cranny of the shop—who knows what priceless riches you will uncover.  How Dok-Ondar acquired all of these treasures, no one knows. Some secrets are better off kept that way. Other secrets are better off kept for sale on the shelves of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.

The MarketEnter the market to find shops such as Black Spire Outfitters where you will find a variety of stylish, functional clothing suitable for a variety of occasions and worlds, Creature Stall – Bina, the shop’s proprietor, has scoured the galaxy to locate hard-to-find species from distant worlds, and Toydarian Toymaker – in this humble, jumbled shop you will find all manner of artisanal playthings and collectibles handmade by the busy toymaker, Zabaka the Toydarian.

First Order Cargo and Resistance Supply – Choose your side!  At Resistance Supply, pick up supplies to gear up for your next daring mission against the First Order, located outside of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  Or head to First Order Cargo, located next to the TIE Echelon transporter, where you can proclaim your allegiance to the mighty First Order and shop for recruitment gear.

WHAT TO WEAR

If you want to feel like a local of Batuu, feel free to dress the part. However, for adults (14+), there are some restrictions so that everyone stays safe and has fun.

Permitted

  • Simple outfits that do not drag the ground, aren’t bulky, and don’t hide your face.
  • “Bounding” – piecing together normal clothing that is a recognizable tribute to Star Wars.
  • Star Wars themed t shirts, dresses, etc.
  • Batuuan attire – wearing clothes that resemble the locals of Batuu (muted tones, vests, layers, etc).

NOT Permitted

  • Any robes or military-style attire.
  • Masks, face paint, elaborate headwear, blasters or holsters (lightsabers are allowed) or hard items such as body armor, helmets or kneepads.
  • Full character suits (no dressing up as a stormtrooper or Chewbacca!).
