| WHAT ARE MAGICBANDS? |
MagicBands are an optional item that can be purchased to use as your keys to the Kingdom. They offer the same functions as Magic Mobile without the use of your mobile device. Like the My Disney Experience App, MagicBands will make your vacation a bit more efficient, but you’ll wear it on your wrist rather than having to pull out a phone.

Each member of your party, regardless of age, has the option of purchasing and personalizing a discounted MagicBand through their My Disney Experience accounts. MagicBands come in a variety of solid colors, premium designs, or MagicBand+. A small selection of MagicBands are available at a discounted price through your My Disney Experience Account (selections subject to availability and frequently change). Based on your preference, MagicBands will be delivered to your home, or they will be waiting for you at your resort.
For a broader choice of MagicBands, you can also check out the Disney Store online, or at the various stores on Disney property. A non-discounted MagicBand purchased separately easily be added to your My Disney Experience account.

MagicBands contain an RFID chip, therefore, bands that are linked to your account can connect to the Disney systems that contain the information for your specific vacation.
- Resort Room Access – Access your Disney Resort hotel room door with a single tap.
- Theme Park Tickets – With valid admission easily enter the parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
- Payment Method – Charge food and merchandise purchases to the payment card on file at your Disney Resort hotel room during your stay.
- Manage Disney PhotoPass – link attraction photos and videos and photos taken by PhotoPass photographers with a tap of your band.
- Experience More Magic – MagicBand+ interactions add to the fun at select shows, parades, and nighttime spectaculars. You can also use your band to find the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection or become a bounty hunter at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Guests who have purchased MagicBand+ for use during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can now use these accessories at the Disneyland Resort in southern California as well as on board all Disney Cruise Line vessels.
