Disney Genie+ is available at the Walt Disney World Resort.  This digital service is designed to create your best Disney day. Guests who purchase Disney Genie+ will have the opportunity to book a return time at select attractions throughout the four theme parks that allows them to skip the standby line and go through an attraction’s Lightning Lane. The service cost is determined daily based on demand.  But how, exactly, do you buy it?  This service is added through your My Disney Experience app.  Before attempting to purchase Disney Genie+ be sure your app is updated to the most current version and use this guide to assist you with purchasing Disney Genie+ on the day of your visit.

PURCHASING GENIE+

To add Disney Genie+ through your My Disney Experience app beginning at 12:01 am on the day of your visit by following these steps:

  1.  Open the My Disney Experience App. The Genie+ screen should automatically appear on your screen.  When it does, tap “Start Now.” (If it does not automatically appear simply tap “Learn More” on the Disney Genie banner on the main screen.
  2. Choose the date for which you’d like to purchase Disney Genie+ and tap “Continue.”
  3. Select everyone in the party who will be included on the purchase and tap “Continue.”
  4. Verify your party with the Quick Roll Call screen and tap “Continue.”
  5. Customize your interactive experience by indicating the attractions, entertainment, dining, and Enchanting Extras that meet your party’s interests, then tap “Continue.”
  6. Continue personalizing your day by choosing up to 10 Disney Favorites, then tap “Continue.”
  7. Next, you can choose to display attraction height requirements and accessibility information. Once finished, tap “Continue.”
  8. When you’ve completed all these steps, tap “Get Disney Genie+ Service, then confirm you party and tap “Continue.”
  9. In the next step you’ll confirm your contact and payment information, then tap “Next.”
  10. Acknowledge the Terms & Conditions and tap “Purchase.”
