If you are traveling with children aged 5 or under, you’ll want to know about your new best friend:  The Walt Disney World Resort Baby Care Centers.  Located in each of the four parks, these friendly spots offer supplies, air-conditioning, a quite feeding place, and a rest station for the youngest of your family members.

If you find yourself in need of some last-minute supplies, you’ll find the Baby Care Centers are stocked with items for purchase such as diapers, training pants, limited over-the-counter medicines, bibs, and other baby care necessities.  Selection is limited, but it will do in a pinch.  If you need medicines or other items, all Baby Care Centers are located next to the First Aid Centers where you will find more detailed items and care.

Moms looking for a quiet and relaxing location for nursing may use one of the private rooms, complete with comfortable rocking chairs.  According to Florida state law, a mother may nurse her baby anywhere she likes, but the Baby Care Center offers a tranquil alternative to the hustle and bustle of the parks.  There are also appropriate resources for pumping, but there is no option to store milk at the centers.

Of course, the Baby Care Centers are fully stocked with changing tables, highchairs, and supplies.  Fully sanitized and cleaned after every use, your baby will feel right at home…and so will you.  While you are caring for your baby his/her older siblings can have fun in the “lounge” while watching Disney favorites on television.

Each Baby Care Center also has a food preparation area for those children who have moved onto formula, cereal, or other types of baby food.  A sink, microwave, bottle warmers, ice, and plastic spoons are all available for use.

The toddler-sized toilets are another great feature.  If your smaller child has difficulty with the noise and size of the adult public restrooms, bring him/her to the Baby Care Center for a much less hectic experience.

All Baby Care Centers are staffed with an assistant who will help with your needs and direct you to the various services.  Apart from the items for sale, all services are completely free for your use.

A child who becomes separated from his or her parents while in the park will be escorted by a Cast Member to the Baby Care Center.  Once there, the child will be looked after until the parent comes to claim the child.
