California Grill
The California Grill serves the flavors of the Pacific at the Contemporary Resort. Located on the 15th floor via private elevator, the California Grill offers stunning panoramic views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Floridian woodland, and Cinderella Castle. The venue is also prime seating for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Spectacular. The restaurant features an onstage kitchen at which guests can watch chefs prepare their dishes. Guests over 21 years of age can also select from a list of over 300 hand-picked wines, most of which come from California. Sommeliers are on hand to answer any questions and to offer pairing suggestions.
Check-in is at the podium on the 2nd floor of the hotel, next to the escalators. From there, a cast member will escort you to the 15th floor via private elevator.
As this is a signature dining experience, guests are asked to adhere to the dress code. Men may wear khakis, slacks, jeans, or dress shorts and collared shirts. Sports coats are optional. Women may wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses, jeans, or dress shorts. Prohibited clothing items include: tank tops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing, and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 60 days in advance. If reservations are unavailable at the desired date and time, guests may be able to request seating at the California Grill Lounge at the check-in podium. Seating at the Lounge is first-come, first-serve and reservations are not accepted. Vegetarian options are available on the menu. Gluten-free options are available upon inquiry at the location.
