Every Disney restaurant has something they are legendary for. The bread pudding at ‘Ohana, the Monte Cristo at Disneyland’s Cafe Orleans, and for 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, its the famous Strawberry Soup. This bright pink, creamy soup calls you as soon as you approach the buffet. While many people may shy away from a cold soup, one taste of this sweet soup, and you will be hooked.
Though sometimes, those cravings for a Disney dish hit when we can’t be in the middle of the magic.
Many people don’t know that Disney will share just about any recipe served in their restaurants if you ask for it. In fact, many of the standards are already pre-printed on cards to hand out whenever someone requests them. If you ask for a recipe that is not immediately handy, they take your email or mailing address and the chef will get it to you.
If you are looking to add some Disney magic to your meals at home, we have the recipe to share with you! Thank you to Dream Designer Olivia Powell for sharing the card she collected on her last magical visit.
