Mobile ordering is now available using the Disney Dining Plan for quick service meals and snacks at over 23 locations at Walt Disney World® Resort. Using the My Disney Experience app, guests can monitor their remaining credits (this alone is amazing), pre-order their meals, and even make sure they are ordering all the meal components they are entitled to.
At any time during the day, guests can select their meal options and arrange their entire order online. They can choose whether to pay for the meal with remaining dining plan credits, or pay with a credit card. Then, once arriving to the restaurant, guests will announce their arrival on the app, and the meal will appear for pickup at a specially designated window.
I have personally used this system outside the dining plan, and it’s a huge time saver. There is no more waiting in long lines for other to place their order.
Oh, by the way, it even works at Aloha Isle for Dole Whips. Yes, Dole Whips.
