When embarking on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Line vacation you want to be prepared, but don’t want to overpack.  This guide will help you determine the necessities you and/or your family will need for the best possible voyage.

CARRY-ON LUGGAGE ITEMS

Pack these items in a day bag to keep with you, as your luggage may not arrive at your stateroom until a few hours after the ship leaves port.

You will have the option to purchase a Zoom Internet package on the ship if you like.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 1 bottle of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage.  Alcoholic beverages (beer, seltzer, or hard liquor) seized on embarkation day will be returned at the end of the voyage provided that they are in the original sealed package.  Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Dinner Attire

When you’re onboard, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few types of suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by item.  Dining attire is smart casual in all main dining restaurants, meaning no swimwear or tank tops. Guests often like to dress up, but this is optional.

Casual: You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch.

Smart Casual: A step up from your typical dinner wear:  collared shirts, slacks, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are welcomed.

Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns. There can be 1-3 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion.

Specialty Dining Venues

Almost every specialty dining venue will require a dress code that is a step above smart casual, leaning more towards formal attire, to match the atmosphere.

Please note that bare feet are not allowed at any time in any venue and tank tops are not permitted in the Main Dining Room or Specialty Dining venues for dinner.

Check the Royal Caribbean app to find the required attire for each dining venue.
