WDW – Guide to Lightning Lane Passes and Attraction Selections

With Walt Disney World’s Lightning Lane passes, Guests can skip the standby lines and join shorter lines for select attractions and experiences instead.  Guests can begin purchasing and planning their park days before they arrive with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, or both.  Guests can also purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass prior to arrival.

TYPES OF PASSES

 

allows Guests to enjoy multiple experiences.  When you purchase a multi pass, you can:

• Plan ahead of your visit and choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows in a theme park.
• Once you’re in the park and you enjoy your first multi pass experience, you may be able to make an additional selection (subject to availability).
• Enjoy photo perks. Receive digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos from your day, captured with Disney PhotoPass Service. Plus, unlock Disney PhotoPass Lenses. 

 

allows Guests to save time in line for one of the most in-demand attractions.

• Available for attractions not included with the purchase of a Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
• Purchase up to 2 single passes per day, subject to availability.
• Can be purchased along with Lightning Lane Multi Pass in a single transaction.

• Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available in very limited quantities for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, The Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve Hotels, and Shades of Green.    

WHEN TO PURCHASE PASSES

Lightning Lane Single Pass, Multi Pass, and Premier Pass are purchased through the My Disney Experience App. 

 

Guests of Disney Resort hotels, The Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve Hotels, and Shades of Green.

• Can purchase Lightning Lane passes starting 7 days before the first day of your Resort stay, for the length of stay (up to 14 days).
• Can purchase Lightning Lane passes for days you have valid theme park admission starting at 7:00 AM EST on the first day of eligibility.
• Choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows and/or up to 2 single pass experiences and arrival windows for each day of your visit. Lightning Lane Premier Pass does not require the selection of arrival times. 

All Other Guests

• Guests with date-based tickets can purchase Lightning Lane passes starting 3 days before the first day of your valid ticket date, for the total number of days on your ticket.
• Guests with other ticket types can purchase 3 days before your park visit.
• Can purchase Lightning Lane passes for days you have valid theme park admission starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time on the first day of eligibility.
• Choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows and/or up to 2 single pass experiences and arrival windows for each day of your visit.
