The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™ at Universal Hollywood is located off of Universal Plaza on the Upper Lot. This is the only way to enter and exit this area of the park.
Nestled at the foot of Hogwarts™ castle, you’ll find this snowcapped wizarding village bustling with enchanted shops, an inviting tavern and more. Explore the corridors and classrooms of Hogwarts™. Take off with Harry Potter™ and his friends to soar above the castle on a journey like no other.
Attractions/Experiences
Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey – Enter through the towering castle gates and make your way down the familiar passageways and corridors of Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Then soar above the castle grounds as you join Harry Potter™ and his friends on a thrilling adventure. Groundbreaking, state-of-the-art technology (and a little magic) creates a one-of-a-kind ride.
Flight of the Hippogriff – Enter the Care of Magical Creatures grounds and pass by Hagrid’s hut, where you may hear Fang barking as you wander by. As you make your way, Hagrid gives instructions on the proper way to approach a Hippogriff, a magical creature that’s part eagle, part horse. This family-friendly roller coaster spirals and dives around the pumpkin patch before swooping past Hagrid’s hut. (Temporarilly Closed)
Olivanders – This is where young wizards and witches come in search of the most essential wizarding item: their wand. You can witness a unique interactive experience and see a wand choose a wizard. Visitors (including the wizard chosen in the interactive experience) can purchase their own unique wand, wand sets, character wand replicas, or Interactive Wand.

Frog Choir – Hear the vocal stylings of this small choir of Hogwarts™ students, accompanied by the smooth bass rumbles of their giant croaking frogs as they perform familiar wizarding songs with an a cappella flourish.
Tri-Wizard Spirit Rally – Cheer on students from Hogwarts™, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang as they lead the excitement for the Triwizard Tournament.
Dining & Beverages
Three Broomsticks – This rustic tavern is the place to go in Hogsmeade™ for good food, friendly conversation, and of course—a Butterbeer™. Take a seat and have your fill of tasty British fare including ‘The Great Feast’, Fish And Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Beef Pasties, Turkey Legs, and fresh vegetables..
Hog’s Head – Located in the back of the Three Broomsticks™ in Hogsmeade™, this is the place to stop in for a Butterbeer™ or Pumpkin Juice™, along with domestic and imported beers, specialty drinks, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks.
Magic Neep Cart – If you want to enjoy Pumpkin Juice but stay on the go, stop by the Magic Neep Cart right behind the Owl Post. Here you’ll also find Gilly Water, bottled beers, and frozen treats like Butterbeer Ice Cream™.
Shopping
Olivanders Wand Shop – Inside, towering walls reveal thousands of boxes stacked to the ceiling. And within each box, a wand is waiting to choose its wizard. Here you can purchase your own unique Ollivanders™ wand, or select one of many Harry Potter™ character wand replicas, sets, and Interactive Wands.
Honeydukes – This legendary sweet shop is filled with colourful treats including Acid Pops, Exploding Bonbons, Cauldron Cakes, Fizzing Whizzbees, and Chocolate Frogs™ complete with wizard trading cards. While you’re here, fill up a bag of Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans™.
Owl Post – Here you can buy stationery, quills, seals, ink, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ stamps, and an array of owl-related toys and gifts. You can also mail letters complete with a special Hogsmeade™ postmark.
Zonkos Joke Shop – Zonko’s™ is your destination for novelty items, jokes and toys. At Zonko’s™ Joke Shop you can take home such items as Extendable Ears, Screaming Yo-yos, Pygmy Puffs and more. There are sweets including Fainting Fancies, Fever Fudge, Nosebleed Nougat and U-No-Poo.
Dervish and Banges – Stop in this shop for all your Quidditch™ needs like t-shirts, Quaffles, Golden Snitches, and brooms including the Nimbus Two Thousand and One and the Firebolt. Also find Hogwarts™ uniforms, clothing and magical items such as Spectrespecs and more.
Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Things – Peruse treasures seized by the school’s resident caretaker, Argus Filch. You’ll find Hogwarts™ apparel, house crest banners, stationery, toys, and more.
Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment – At Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, visitors will find a variety of wizarding wares, as well as a unique selection of apparel and accessories from your Hogwarts™ house.
Galdrags Wizardwear – Here guests will find a variety of fashionable wizardwear such as authentic wizards’ robes and accessories, as well as other apparel and jewelry fashion items inspired by the four school houses. And in the front window, get an up-close look at Hermione’s enchanting Yule Ball gown.
Hogsmeade Station – At Hogsmeade™ Station, you will be able to fulfill all of your apparel and souvenir needs with magical Platform 9 ¾™-branded items including train tickets, wallets, passport cases, backpacks, blankets, mugs, photo frames, jewelry and more – all found among the towering stacks of lost luggage, traveling parcels and owl cages.

- Even if you don’t plan to purchase a wand, stop and watch the Wand-choosing Ceremony at Ollivanders to experience an homage to the famous scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
