What Does the Wedding Planning Journey Look Like?
Once you have worked with your Disney Wedding Consultant to select a wedding venue and choose a date and time for your wedding, then you will be introduced to your Disney wedding team!
Dream Designer Rachel King recalls her planning experience magical from the first moment. “Honestly, it was one of the most memorable times for me. We met our wedding planner, Meri, for the first time in May 2011. Meri was amazing and walked us through everything. The next time we would visit with her was when we did our food/cake tasting which we were able to bring my mom, sister, and grandma along for that. I seriously felt like a celebrity during the food tasting! We were taken into the kitchen of the Grand Floridian where there was a table all set and a marquee with congratulations, Andrew and Rachel, on it. The chef discussed and gave us a pretty sizable tasting of each item we were considering serving (we choose to do plated over buffet). The cake tasting was just as nice. Since we were living in South Carolina at the time a lot of communication was via phone or email, but she was wonderful at answering all our questions along the way.
From coordinating logistics with photography, culinary, floral, to curating timelines, and more! Your wedding planner will manage all the details related to your event. They are there to give you peace of mind so that you can enjoy every moment of your special day. You and your planner can determine what planning cadence works best for you throughout your planning process based on your individual.
“We started by deciding how many family members we wanted to be with us. Then, by contacting DFTW. They were amazing.” Dream Designer Stacey Cox recalls, “It was very stress-free! Perfect for any bride.”
