Pixar Pier will open on June 23 at Disney’s California Adventure® Park as announced at D23 Expo Japan. The newly reimagined area will take on the themes of your favorite Pixar stories and characters. Entering through a new marquee as shown above (notice the Pixar lamp at the top), you will notice the Pixar influence in the attractions, food, merchandise and story of the area.
The highlight of Pixar Pier will be the Incredicoaster (formerly California Screamin’) which will dazzle you with new lighting, special effects, characters, and music that will immerse you into the world of “The Incredibles”.
The popular night-time parade “Paint the Night” will return, this time to California Adventure, on April 13, 2018 as part of the Pixar Fest celebration. But coming in June, a new float celebrating “The Incredibles” will be added to the parade. This brightly colored, high tech, pop art float will feature Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone. New technology will also bring Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack to life, showcasing their super powers.
